St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 103 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Dustin Michael Lovell, 25, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2022, at 10:27 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of synthetic cannabinoids, speeding, and driving under suspension. Lovell was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Marlon Devante Green, 28, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2022, at 9:46 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled. Green was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

 

Galen Wayne Ford, 29, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2022, at 11:40 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $9,263.48.

 

Da'zhane Gasery, 22, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2022, at 7:04 pm for domestic abuse battery. Bail was set at $2,500.

 

Shane Paul Trosclair, 50, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2022, at 6:56 pm for reckless operation-no accident and driving under suspension. Trosclair was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

 

Wilfred Minor, 28, Franklin, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2022, at 11:30 pm for criminal damage to property-simple. Minor was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

 

Lorenzo Cornelius Johnson Sr., 48, Baton Rouge, LA, was arrested on April 30, 2022, at 12:39 pm for speeding and possession of marijuana. Johnson was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

 

Melvin Thibodaux, 52, Siracusa, LA, was arrested on April 30, 2022, at 1:31 pm on the following charges:

• Driving on roadway laned for traffic
• License plate lights required
• Open container
• Driving while intoxicated-2nd offense

Thibodaux was released on a $6,000 bond.

 

Jerrence Christopher Ford Sr., 33, Amelia, LA, was arrested on April 30, 2022, at 10:19 am for battery of a dating partner and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bail was set at $7,500 bond.

 

Sade Monie Bright, 32, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 30, 2022, at 7:59 pm on a New Orleans warrant for violation of protective orders. Bright was transferred to another agency.

 

Hannah Prince, 21, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on April 30, 2022, at 9:00 pm for improper lane usage and no insurance. Prince was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

 

Jeffrey Noel, 41, Westwego, LA, was arrested on April 30, 2022, at 10:24 pm for driving under suspension. Noel was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

 

Hodges Ferdinand Matthews, 43, Amelia, LA, was arrested on April 30, 2022, at 11:11 pm for driving under suspension and proper equipment required on vehicles. Matthews was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

 

Justin Dale Havens, 34, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 1, 2022, at 1:48 am on the following charges:

• Open container
• General speed law
• Traffic control signals
• Resisting an officer by flight

Havens was released on a summons to appear on August 26, 2022.

 

Chasity Nicole Gros, 39, Pierre Part, LA, was arrested on May 1, 2022, at 8:59 am for improper lane usage, driving under suspension, and texting while driving. Gros was released on a summons to appear on August 26, 2022.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Leonard Allen Jr., 55, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 30, 2022, at 8:43 pm on the following charges:

• Improper lane usage
• Stop signs and yield signs
• Possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles
• Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Allen was released on a summons to appear on July 19, 2022.

 

Kristopher Savoie, 42, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2022, at 4:16 pm for possession of firearm in presence of a CDS, possession of firearm by person convicted of certain felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $30,000.

 

Connie Ribardi, 49, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2022, at 4:16 pm for possession of schedule II (methamphetamine). Bail has not been set.

 

Tina Stelly, 52, Patterson, LA, was arrested on April 29, 2022, at 4:16 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II with intent to distribute (methamphetamine)
• Possession of schedule II (adderall)
• Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of firearm in the presence of a CDS
• Possession of firearm by person convicted of certain felonies

Bail has not been set.
