St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 31 complaints and reports the following arrests:

NARCOTICS SECTION

Royal Jackson, 21, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 23, 2022, at 1:43 pm on the following charges:

• Window tint
• Failure to signal 100 ft. prior to turn
• Aggravated flight from an officer
• Aggravated obstruction of a highway
• Driving under suspension
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail was set at $35,000.

 

Anthony Wilson Jr., 26, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 23, 2022, at 1:39 pm on the following charges:

• Resisting an officer
• Possession of schedule I with intent to distribute (marijuana)
• Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS
• Possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by person convicted of certain felony
• Transactions involving drug proceeds
• Obstruction of justice

Bail was set at $40,000.
