St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 20 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Vernija Vercha Loston, 23, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 15, 2022, at 4:35 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace by fighting and battery-simple. Bail has not been set.

Kilo Neole White, 32, Patterson, LA, was arrested on June 16, 2022, at 12:28 am on the following charges:

• No taillights
• No driver's license
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of methamphetamine
• Possession of schedule I drugs
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
