St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 99 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Darren Ann Bogan, 45, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 22, 2022, at 3:00 pm for entry/remaining on premises after being forbidden. Bail was set at $500.

 

Curtis Lee Fuselier Sr., 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 22, 2022, at 5:36 pm for probation violation-felony. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Bill Joseph Scully, 48, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 23, 2022, at 10:34 pm on the following charges:

• Driving on roadway laned for traffic
• Open container
• Driving while intoxicated
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jermaine Walter Brown, 36, Converse, TX, was arrested on July 23, 2022, at 1:33 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of disturbing the peace, distribution of cocaine, and violation of a CDS law in a drug-free zone. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Juvenile Male, 13, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 24, 2022, at 3:24 am for theft-motor vehicle and criminal damage to property. The juvenile male was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Miguel Silva Perez, 43, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on July 25, 2022, at 12:25 am for driving while intoxicated. Bail was set at $2,500.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
