St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 25 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

David Wayne Mire, 46, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 2, 2022, at 4:34 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $50,855.21.

 

Amanda Faye Brown, 35, Houma, LA, was arrested on August 3, 2022, at 3:48 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
