St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 103 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Lee Roger Butler, 55, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 5, 2022, at 1:30 pm on a warrant for failure to appear for simple arson where damage amounts to $500 or more, second-degree injuring public records, and introducing or possessing contraband in any municipal or parish or jail. Bail has not been set on this charge at $30,000.

 

Steve Michael Scully, Sr., 56, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 7, 2022, at 11:52 pm on a warrant for failure to appear through the Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office. Scully is being held for another agency.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
