St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 48   complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Anthony Wayne Bonner, 57, Patterson, LA, was arrested on August 31, 2022, at 10:53 am for theft, theft by fraud, and possession of stolen property. Bonner also held two warrants for failure to appear. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jude Geraldo Franklin, 44, Franklin, LA, was arrested on August 31, 2022, at 11:11 am on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of heroin with intent to distribute
• Possession of MDMA
• Violation of uniform CDS law, drug-free zone.
• Transaction involving proceeds from drug offenses
• Obstruction of justice
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of methamphetamine
• Resisting an officer by providing false information

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Courtland Javaud Fullwood Sr., 34, Patterson, LA, was arrested on August 31, 2022, at 11:11 am on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
• Domestic abuse battery-child endangerment
• Simple criminal damage to property
• Entry on or remaining in places or land after being forbidden
• Simple assault
• Disturbing the peace-offensive words  

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Tommy Dennis Morgan Jr., 33, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 31, 2022, at 11:11 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute
• Possession of synthetic cannabinoids with intent to distribute
• Attempted introducing or possession of contraband in any municipal or parish prison or jail
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

 

Derek Grainer, 28, Port Allen, LA, was arrested on August 31, 2022, at 11:28 am for illegal possession of stolen firearms, burglary of an inhabited dwelling, and possession of stolen things.  Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Cherie Anne Hazel, 30, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 31, 2022, at 6:35 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Expired motor vehicle inspection
• Possession of cocaine
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Claude Charlot, 29, Patterson, LA, was arrested on August 31, 2022, at 11:03 pm on the following charges:

• Resisting an officer
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Illegal possession of stolen firearms
• Possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies
• Warrant- parole violation

Bail has not been set at this time.
