Arrest Report- September 8, 2022

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 31  complaints and reports the following arrests:

Randy Lee Heuring, 46, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on September 7, 2022, at 7:34 am for pornography involving juveniles (30 counts).

On Wednesday, September 7, a deputy was dispatched to a residence in Bayou Vista to assist the Louisiana State Police Fugitive Task Force and the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations in locating Heuring, who held a warrant for pornography involving juveniles under 13 years of age (30 counts).

Contact was made with Heuring at the residence and he was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Edwin Benjamin Che-Acte, 24, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 8, 2022, at 7:30 am for unlawful production, distribution, possession of fraudulent documents. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Felicia Mercedes Picard, 32, St. Martin, LA, was arrested on September 7, 2022, at 5:40 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

  • Possession of a schedule II CDS (methamphetamine)
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Illegal use, consumption, possession, or distribution of a CDS in the presence of persons under 17

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Kacie Elizabeth Smith, 28, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on September 8, 2022, at 5:41 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of schedule II (fentanyl) with intent to distribute
  • Possession of schedule I (heroin)
  • Obstruction of justice by tampering with evidence
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Improper display of license plate

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Julia Glynn, 31, Amelia, LA, was arrested on September 7, 2022, at 9:47 am on a warrant for possession of schedule II (methamphetamine). Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
