St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 40   complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Juvenile Female, 14, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 12, 2022, at 3:00 pm for disturbing the peace by fighting. The juvenile was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Frankie Marcell Pilote Jr., 30, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 12, 2022, at 2:43 pm on three warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family (2 counts) and possession of firearm or carrying weapon by a convicted felon. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Kenya N. Patterson, 30, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on September 12, 2022, at 10:39 pm on an Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of heroin. Patterson is being held for another agency.

 

Zackery Johnson, 36, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on September 12, 2022, at 10:58 pm for possession of schedule I (marijuana) and possession of schedule II with intent to distribute (methamphetamine). Bail has not been set.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
