St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Eroy J. Acosta Jr., 36, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on September 23, 2022, at 10:15 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $56,797.83.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
