St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Rickey James Foret Jr., 43, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on September 30, 2022, at 5:15 am on as Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to appear on the charge of disturbing the peace. Foret is being held for another agency.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Keith Stewart, 61, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 29, 2022, at 5:04 pm for cultivation of marijuana. Stewart was released on a $25,000 bond.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
