St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 32  complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Juvenile Female, 15, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 6, 2022, at 12:21 pm on a warrant for simple battery. The juvenile female was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Alira Dasjanea' Ashanti Clark, 22, Gibson, LA, was arrested on October 6, 2022, at 10:40 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana, violation of uniform CDS law (drug-free zone), and consumption, possession, or distribution of CDS in presence of a person under 17. Bail was set at $5,200.

 

Lavonne Marie Johns, 29, Larose, LA, was arrested on October 6, 2022, at 11:08 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of heroin. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Renieka Augustina Clark, 40, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 7, 2022, at 1:04 am for speeding, open container, and driving while intoxicated. Bail was set at $4,750.

 

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
