Arrest Report- October 12, 2022

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 41 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tyler Raydell Andrews, 23, Hammond, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2022, at 9:29 am for battery-second degree. Andrews continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

Eloise Hampton, 36, Baton Rouge, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2022, at 6:22 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of for possession of schedule I drugs (MDMA) with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Cedric Banjamin Gant, 35, Siracusaville, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2022, at 3:23 pm on the following charges:

  • Warrant- domestic abuse battery
  • FTA warrant- theft
  • FTA warrant-violation of a protective order, operating a vehicle with suspended license, operating a vehicle without proper equipment
  • FTA warrant- violation of a protective order
  • FTA warrant-violation of a protective order
  • FTA warrant- violation of a protective order
  • Resisting an officer
  • Possession of schedule I (marijuana)
  • Possession of schedule I (MDMA)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS
  • Possession of CDS in the presence of person under 17 years of age

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
