St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 27 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tytianna Charles, 25, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 12, 2022, at 2:55 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of direct contempt, speeding, and failing to honor written promise to appear. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Dwayne Joseph Broussard, 60, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 12, 2022, at 11:47 pm for driving while intoxicated and improper lane usage. Broussard was released on a $2,750 bond.

 

Dwayne Jamon Provost, 38, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on October 13, 2022, at 4:19 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail was set at $12,390.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
