St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 95 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Chad Michael Adams, 39, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 13, 2022, at 3:07 pm on two warrants for the charges of theft (2 counts) and forgery. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Brennan Michael Tatum, 25, Pierre Part, LA, was arrested on October 14, 2022, at 12:30 pm for introduction of contraband-penal institution. Tatum continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

Hailey Mire, 20, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on October 15, 2022, at 2:42 pm for domestic abuse child endangerment law. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

John Charles Lacoste III, 38, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 16, 2022, at 6:37 pm on three warrants for the charges of criminal neglect of family, no seat belt, and operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled. Bail was set at $28,000.

 

Valarie Amburgey, 39, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 16, 2022, at 8:06 pm for domestic abuse child endangerment law. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
