St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Brittany Nicole Crouch, 36, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 20, 2022, at 8:47 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of schedule IV (alprazolam) and illegal use, consumption, possession, or distribution of CDS in the presence of persons under 17. Crouch was released on a $250 bond.

Alec George Race Jr., 51, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 20, 2022, at 3:32 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine. Bail has not been set at this time.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
