St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Heather Ann Orgeron, 42, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2022, at 3:40 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Brandon Michael Armentor, 30, Gibson, LA, was arrested on October 24, 2022, at 4:37 pm for stop signs/yield signs and resisting an officer by flight. Armentor was released on a $1,750 bond.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
