St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Devin Fabian Metrejean, 29, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 17, 2022, at 5:12 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of improperly riding on deck or gunwales. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Juvenile Male, 17, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on November 17, 2022, at 7:56 pm for possession of a handgun by a juvenile. The juvenile was released into the custody of a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

 

Donyll Lee Robertson, 31, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on November 17, 2022, at 8:48 pm for disturbing the peace-intoxicated. Robertson was released on a summons to appear in court.

 

Jerome Darby, 59, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 17, 2022, at 11:35 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of synthetic cannabinoids, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Mark Anthony Hilliard Sr., 39, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 17, 2022, at 5:30 pm for window tint and driving under suspension. Hilliard also held the following warrants:

• Failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family
• Jeanerette Police Department warrant on the charges of speeding, exceeding maximum speed limit, and no driver's license

Bail was set at $18,961.44 on the St. Mary Parish charges and a hold was placed for another agency.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
