St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Randolph Anthony Joseph, 30, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 28, 2022, at 6:19 am for battery-simple. Bail was set at $5,000 on this charge.

 

Leonard Joseph Romero III, 43, Franklin, LA, was arrested on November 28, 2022, at 11:34 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Improper lane usage
• No insurance
• Driving under suspension
• Switched license plate/stolen license plate
• Resisting arrest or officer
• Resisting an officer by giving false information

Romero also held an Iberia Parish warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle without a driver's license and improper use of registration/license plates/license.

Bail has not been set at this time.
