St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 35 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Kevin Latroy Darby, 32, Patterson, LA, was arrested on November 29, 2022, at 5:26 pm on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Criminal neglect of family
• Possession of firearm/carrying of concealed weapon by a convicted felon
• Illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities
• Illegal use/possession/control of weapons-crime of violence/CDS
• Possession of schedule IV CDS- alprazolam
• Possession of schedule I CDS-heroin
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of schedule II CDS-methamphetamine
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set at this time.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
