St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Christopher Jonathan Viscardi, 41, Broussard, LA, was arrested on December 5, 2022, at 11:28 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule I (MDMA) with intent to distribute
• Illegal use/possession/control of weapons-crime of violence/CDS
• Aggravated obstruction of a highway
• Aggravated flight from an officer where human life is endangered

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jeremy Joseph Olivier, 43, Patterson, LA, was arrested on December 5, 2022, at 6:56 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of expired motor vehicle inspection and unlawful use of a driver's license. Bail was set at $500.

 

David Wayne Mire, 46, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 6, 2022, at 12:37 am on an Assumption Parish warrant for failure to appear. Mire is being held for another agency.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
