St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Willie Joseph Johnlouis Jr., 35, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on December 9, 2022, at 9:37 am on a warrant for failure to appear the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II CDS
• Possession of firearm or carrying concealed by convicted felon
• Illegal possession of stolen firearm
• Illegal use/possession/control of weapons-crime of violence/CDS
• Obstruction of justice-tampering with evidence
• Improper lane usage

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Cedric Paul Griffin Jr., 41, Patterson, LA, was arrested on December 9, 2022, at 12:10 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of distribution of marijuana. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Deidra Patrice Nerve, 43, Franklin, LA, was arrested on December 11, 2022, at 2:28 am for possession of schedule I drug with intent to distribute. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jairo Jarez Perez, 25, Amelia, LA, was arrested on December 10, 2022, at 10:36 pm for hit/run and driving while intoxicated. Bail was set at $3,500.

 

Dean Christian Nielsen, 63, Sargent, TX, was arrested on December 11, 2022, at 6:10 pm for battery of a dating partner. Nielson was released on a $4,500 bond.

 

Clito R. Dfonseca, 61, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on December 11, 2022, at 8:49 pm for hit and run. Dfonseca was released on a $1,000 bond.

 

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
