St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 78 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Paul Marshall Daigle, 44, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on December 18, 2022, at 6:28 pm on the following charges:

• Battery of a dating partner
• Unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling
• Resisting arrest or officer
• Interfering with emergency communication
• Assault-aggravated

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Edward Ulysses Giroir, 28, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 18, 2022, at 8:39 pm on the following charges:

• Simple battery of the informed
• Unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling
• Disturbance
• Battery of a dating partner
• Violation of protective orders

Bail has not been set at this time.
