St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 21 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Abbey Leigh Aucoin, 26, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on December 22, 2022, at 5:07 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of methamphetamine
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Illegal use, consumption, possession, or distribution of a CDS in the presence of a juvenile

Aucoin was released on a $7,000 bond.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
