St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Vincent P. Louviere, 38, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on January 4, 2022, at 12:07 pm on two warrants for the charges of molestation of a juvenile (2 counts) and sexual battery. Bail has not been set at this time.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
