St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 38 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Charles Ray Sherman Jr., 43, Denham Springs, LA, was arrested on January 25, 2023, at 8:00 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of simple burglary and criminal trespassing. Bail has not been set at this time. 

 

Brady Paul Rodriguez, 31, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on January 25, 2023, at 4:38 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of domestic abuse battery and violation of protective orders. Bail has not been set at this time. 

 

Naomi Beth Pitre, 38, Breaux Bridge, LA, was arrested on January 26, 2023, at 7:10 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, and theft-less than $1,000. Bail has not been set at this time. 

 

Heath James Landry, 25, Ville Platte, LA, was arrested on January 25, 2023, at 7:12 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting an officer. Bail has not been set at this time. 

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
