Arrest Report- February 6, 2023

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 84 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tyrone Eric McCrary, 38, New Orleans, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2023, at 10:10 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of burglary, possession of schedule II CDS (methamphetamine), and simple criminal damage to property. Bail has not been set for the additional charges.

 

Bryanshekia Shantell Harris, 35, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 3, 2023, at 3:04 pm for theft. Harris was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Nicholas Daniel Wiggins, 33, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on February 5, 2023, at 9:47 am on two warrants for failure to appear on following charges:

  • possession of oxycodone
  • possession of alprazolam
  • operating a vehicle with improper taillights
  • possession of alcoholic beverages in motor vehicle
  • possession/distribution/sale of legend drug without prescription (Promethazine)

Bail has not been set at this time.

Clarence Joseph Bourque, 66, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on February 4, 2023, at 5:41 pm for driving while intoxicated and reckless operation with accident. Bourque was released on a $3,500 bond.

 

Dowayne Charlot, 47, Patterson, LA, was arrested on February 5, 2023, at 1:06 am for introduction of contraband-penal institute and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Kyreondie Poindexter, 18, Carencro, LA, was arrested on February 4, 2023, at 3:56 pm for possession of schedule I (marijuana), possession of schedule V (promethazine), and possession of a firearm in the presence of a CDS. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Antonio Alfred, 18, Scott, LA, was arrested on February 4, 2023, at 3:56 pm for possession of schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute and possession of schedule V (promethazine). Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
