St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Tina Michelle Berrios, 48, Charenton, LA, was arrested on March 9, 2023, at 11:37 am on a failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting an officer by providing false information. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Juston Pierre Welsh, 40, Charenton, LA, was arrested on March 9, 2023, at 2:45 pm on the following charges:

• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Possession of marijuana
• Driver must be licensed
• Stop signs and yield signs

Welsh was released on a $2,500 bond.

 

Jamie Lynn Thibodaux, 36, Thibodaux, LA, was arrested on March 9, 2023, at 7:50 pm on a failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of methamphetamine
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of marijuana
• Driving under suspension
• Improper turn
• Failure to give turn signal

Bail was set at $3,000.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
