St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 32 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Travis O'Neal Williams, 31, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on March 13, 2023, at 12:40 pm on a failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Possession of schedule II CDS
• Resisting an officer

Bail has been set at $2,500.

 

Eric Scott Stelly, 40, Houma, LA, was arrested on March 13, 2023, at 12:19 pm for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and cruelty to a juvenile. Stelly also held a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of the charge of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Lamonta Lavont Skinner, 19, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 13, 2023, at 11:33 pm on the following charges:

• Indecent behavior with juvenile
• Computer-aided solicitation of a minor
• Misdemeanor sexual battery
• Interference with a law enforcement investigation

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Yolanda Faye Baker, 48, Franklin, LA, was arrested on March 13, 2023, at 6:47 am for resisting arrest or officer and resisting an officer by giving false information. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Michael Wayne Sweetser Jr., 30, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on March 13, 2023, at 1:08 pm for possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

April Aucoin, 32, Patterson, LA, was arrested on March 13, 2023, at 1:08 pm for possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, and on a warrant for distribution of marijuana. Bail has not been set at this time.
