St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 80 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Lisa Ann Fontenot, 57, Berwick, LA, was arrested on March 17, 2023, at 6:50 pm for resisting arrest or officer, battery on a police officer, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of bank fraud. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Charise Kay Suire, 36, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on March 17, 2023, at 6:47 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of cocaine. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

John Sillmon III, 38, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on March 18, 2023, at 2:53 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of gross littering. Sillmon was released on a $1,200 bond.

 

Reagan Nicole Bowers, 24, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 18, 2023, at 8:53 am on a warrant for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Bowers was released on personal surety.

 

Charmain Marie Hebert, 37, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on March 19, 2023, at 9:57 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II drugs
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of schedule III drugs
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Introduction of contraband-penal institute

Bail was set at $6,000.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
