St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jakhyri Carbin, 20, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 5, 2023, at 10:47 am on an MCPD warrant for failure to appear on the charges of indecent behavior with juveniles, computer-aided solicitation of a minor, and obscenity. Carbin is being held for another agency.

Noah Matthew Partin, 46, Houma, LA, was arrested on April 5, 2023, at 4:50 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, driving under suspension, and operating a vehicle in an unsafe condition. Bail has not been set at this time.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
