Sheriff Blaise Smith announced that detectives are investigating a body found on a driveway in the 1800 block of Highway 182 in Bayou Vista on Thursday morning.

At approximately 7:47 am on Thursday, April 6, 2023, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista where a body was found on a driveway. Although the investigation is ongoing, detectives say there are no signs of foul play at this time.
