Arrest Report- April 10, 2023

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 96-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 106 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jose Manuel Bibian, 18, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on April 8, 2023, at 12:00 pm for burglary and resisting arrest or officer.

Juan Carlos Salinas-Lara, 19, Amelia, LA, was arrested on April 8, 2023, at 12:00 pm for burglary and resisting arrest or officer.

Damian Augustine Calderon, 18, Amelia, LA, was arrested on April 8, 2023, at 12:00 pm for burglary and resisting arrest or officer.

On Friday morning, April 7, 2023, a deputy was dispatched to a residence on Lenny's Lane in response to a call of several armed subjects attempting to burglarize a residence. Upon arrival, the deputy saw several subjects run from the residence.

The deputy chased the subjects on foot and apprehended one of the subjects. Detectives were called to the scene and began an investigation. Through the investigation, other subjects were identified and subsequently located. Bibian, Salinas-Lara, and Calderon were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.

Bail was set at $72,500.

 

Shon Larray Wilson Jr., 23, Baton Rouge, LA, was arrested on April 9, 2023, at 6:49 pm on an East Baton Rouge Parish warrant for failure to appear on the charges of domestic abuse child endangerment law, domestic abuse battery, and second-degree battery. Wilson is being held for another agency.

 

Chiquita Demetria Collins, 40, Berwick, LA, was arrested on April 9, 2023, at 4:21 pm for theft and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of cocaine, no seat belt, and illegal use/possession/control of weapons-crime of violence. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
