St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 29 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Kerri Lee Short, 36, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on April 14, 2023, at 12:31 am for disturbing the peace by language and resisting arrest or officer. Short was released on a $2,500 bond.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
