St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Josse Galindo, 40, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on May 15, 2023, at 6:14 pm on a warrant for aggravated battery of a dating partner-strangulation. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Braylan Raedel Hamilton Sr., 39, Franklin, LA, was arrested on May 15, 2023, at 11:22 am on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of criminal neglect of family and simple battery. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Lysa Marie Fabre, 36, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on May 15, 2023, at 11:21 pm on an Assumption Parish warrant for failure to appear on the charges of no seat belt, possession, sale, or distribution of a legend drug without prescription or order. Fabre is being held for another agency.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
