St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 25 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Celeste Nicole Naverre, 41, Lafayette, LA, was arrested on June 7, 2023, at 1:50 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charge:

• Resisting an officer
• Disturbing the peace-offensive words
• Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
• Operating a vehicle with improper headlamps
• Operating a vehicle with improper tail lamps

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Christopher Paul George, 25, Slidell, LA, was arrested on June 7, 2023, at 5:27 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of schedule II CDS- methamphetamine
• Possession of marijuana
• Hit and run driving
• Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Justin Dale Adams, 45, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on June 7, 2023, at 4:06 pm on the following charges:

• Possession of heroin
• Possession of schedule II drugs with intent to distribute
• Possession of xanax
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Dwayne Anthony August, 27, Jeanerette, LA, was arrested on June 8, 2023, at 12:37 pm for disturbing the peace-intoxicated. Bail has not been set at this time.
