St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 105 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Antoine David Booker, 38, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 9, 2023, at 1:39 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charge of child support. Bail was set at $9,815.69.

 

Jordan Jamal Guilbeau, 26, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 12, 2023, at 7:52 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of speeding and no driver's license. Bail was set at $443.50.

 

Tommy James Vidos, 47, Bayou Vista, LA, was arrested on June 11, 2023, at 5:20 pm for theft and on an MCPD warrant for failure to appear. Vidos is being held for another agency.

 

Fred Purnell Kenner, 36, Patterson, LA, was arrested on June 11, 2023, at 1:11 pm on the following charges:

• Expired license plate
• Resisting arrest or officer
• Obstruction of justice-tampering
• Distribution, manufacturing, or possession with intent to distribute- crack cocaine
• Expired driver's license
• Transactions involving proceeds from drug offense
• Possession of drug paraphernalia 
• Failure to appear warrant
• Failure to appear warrant

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Michael Ray Payton, 35, Franklin, LA, was arrested on June 11, 2023, at 12:58 pm for battery-second degree and on a warrant for failure to appear. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
