St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 120-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 149 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Collin Richard Granger, 43, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 1, 2023, at 12:27 pm for theft and criminal mischief-false report. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Quentin Theodore Delco, 41, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 3, 2023, at 9:40 pm for possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Cedric Benjamin Gant, 26, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 4, 2023, at 2:20 am for proper equipment required on vehicles, driving under suspension, and possession of marijuana. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Byron Keith Wesley, 25, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 4, 2023, at 5:12 am on two St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office warrants for failure to appear and an active warrant out of Tarrant County, Texas. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Kimberly Rene Glynn, 33, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 4, 2023, at 1:03 pm for issuing worthless checks. Bail was set at $500.

 

Theresa Ruffin Jones, 66, Franklin, LA, was arrested on July 3, 2023, at 9:25 am for obstruction of justice. Bail was set at $5,000.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
