St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 30 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Matthew Ryan Senette, 39, Centerville, LA, was arrested on July 6, 2023, at 10:56 am for battery of a dating partner-strangulation. Bail has been set at $18,500.

 

Keith Anthony Rhodes, 60, Houma, LA, was arrested on July 6, 2023, at 7:27 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of marijuana with intent to distribute
• Transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses
• Possession of drug paraphernalia
• Signaling required

Bail has been set at $2,500.

 

NARCOTICS SECTION

Anthony D. Lightfoot, 41, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 6, 2023, at 10:37 am for possession of schedule II (crack cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstruction of justice. Bail has been set at $18,500.

 

Anthony Bourda Jr., 42, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on July 6, 2023, at 10:37 am on the following charges:

• Passing in a no-passing zone
• Reckless operation of a vehicle
• Flight from an officer
• Driving under suspension
• No insurance

Bourda was released on a $10,000 bond.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
