St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 84 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Rodrick Adam Pierre, 28, Baldwin, LA, was arrested on August 25, 2023, at 11:25 pm on three warrants for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of marijuana
• Improper turn and/or failure to give required signal
• Operating a vehicle while license is suspended/revoked/canceled
• Operating a vehicle not covered by security

Bail has been set at $1,150.

 

Curtis Paul Gaudet, Jr., 30, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 25, 2023, at 10:56 am on a warrant for failure to appear. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Deantre Dshawn Christopher Charles, 28, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on August 25, 2023, at 10:40 pm for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of marijuana and possession of stolen firearms. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Michelle Ann Bowers, 49, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 27, 2023, at 2:17 am for turning movement and required signals, driving under suspension, and driving while intoxicated. Bowers was released on a $6,250 bond.

 

Esau Mitchell, 67, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 27, 2023, at 10:45 pm on a MCPD warrant for failure to appear on the charge of simple battery. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Ryan Joseph Delahoussaye, 29, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on August 25, 2023, at 11:29 am for domestic abuse battery. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
