St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 73 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Christopher Michael Ellison, 35, St. Amant, LA, was arrested on September 8, 2023, at 9:34 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Possession of a counterfeit schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute
• Possession of schedule II (methamphetamine)
• Possession of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Kayla Marie Aucoin, 29, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on September 8, 2023, at 3:03 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of animal cruelty. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Laquisha Monique Davis, 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 9, 2023, at 4:13 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

• Flight from an officer
• Window tint/obscuring windshield/window view
• Improper lane usage
• No seat belt
• Operating a vehicle without a driver's license

Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Luis Alfredo Lozano-Rodriguez, 30, Amelia, LA, was arrested on September 9, 2023, at 11:14 pm on the following charges:

• Open container
• Littering
• Reckless operation/no accident
• No driver's license

Lozano-Rodriguez was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Bryan Lionell Lyons, 59, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 10, 2023, at 5:40 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
