St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 83 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jason Glen Driskill, 51, Patterson, LA, was arrested on September 22, 2023, at 8:50 am on a warrant for theft. Driskill was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Shane Joseph Granger, 36, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on September 22, 2023, at 5:51 pm for burglary-simple. Bail was set at $15,000.

 

Gabriel Brun Goulart, 41, Franklin, LA, was arrested on September 24, 2023, at 7:37 am on a Franklin Police Department warrant on the charges of simple burglary and criminal trespassing. Goulart is being held for another agency.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
