St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 82 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Kevin Wilson Yazzie, 36, Winslow, AR, was arrested on September 30, 2023, at 2:32 pm for reckless operation-no accident, driver must be licensed, and driving while intoxicated-5th offense. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Joshua Jerome Navy, 36, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 1, 2023, at 8:20 am stalking and resisting arrest or officer. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Kenneth Wayne Comeaux, 35, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 1, 2023, at 6:47 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Comeaux was released on a $1,500 bond.

 

Hector Ruiz-Santos, 42, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 1, 2023, at 9:16 pm for driving on roadway laned for traffic, expired driver's license, and driving while intoxicated. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
