St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Ryan Michael Richter, 26, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 5, 2023, at 8:51 pm for disturbing the peace by fighting and theft. Bail was set at $2,000.

Amiee Lynn Chapman, 39, Amelia, LA, was arrested on October 5, 2023, at 9:01 pm for disturbing the peace by fighting and theft. Bail was set at $2,000.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
