St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 88 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Anthony Joseph Beard, 47, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 8, 2023, at 4:41 pm for disturbing the peace-intoxicated and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Christopher M. Gross, 43, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 6, 2023, at 7:48 pm for driving while intoxicated. Gross was released on a $2,500 bond.

 

Jose Miguel Perez Izaguirre, 25, Amelia, LA, was arrested on October 7, 2023, at 8:09 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving while intoxicated, operating a vehicle without a driver's license, and hit & run driving. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Shauntell Hartegen, 40, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 8, 2023, at 3:24 pm for criminal damage to property-simple, criminal trespass, and resisting an officer by flight. Bail has not been set at this time.
