St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Derrick Paul Enke, 39, Houma, LA, was arrested on October 10, 2023, at 12:14 am for theft and resisting arrest or officer. Bail was set at $12,500.

 

Merlyn Joseph Maury III, 44, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 10, 2023, at 12:14 am for accessory to theft. Bail was set at $2,500.

 

Felicia Margaret Young, 51, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 11, 2023, at 2:57 am for disturbing the peace-intoxicated and violation of protective orders. Bail was set at $4,000.

 

Jessica Daniel Taylor, 34, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 10, 2023, at 2:51 pm for battery-simple. Bail was set at $2,500.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
