St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 33 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Joey Jermaine Francois, 43, Morgan City, LA, was arrested on October 12, 2023, at 11:51 am for probation violation. Francois is being held for another agency.

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
