Arrest Report- October 16, 2023

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 72-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 67 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Damian Paul Mayea, 21, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 13, 2023, at 11:24 am on a New Iberia Police Department warrant for failure to appear on the charges of aggravated criminal damage to property and domestic abuse aggravated assault-child endangerment. Mayea is being held for another agency.

 

Jackson Perez Juarez, 21, Amelia, LA, was arrested on October 14, 2023, at 12:51 am on the following charges:

  • No driver's license
  • Reckless operation-no accident
  • Driving while intoxicated
  • Resisting arrest or officer

Juarez was released on a $5,250 bond.

 

Cameron Orrin Mitchell, 23, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 14, 2023, at 8:43 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the following charges:

  • Obstruction of highway- aggravated
  • Reckless operation-no accident
  • Maximum speed limit
  • Mufflers (modification of exhaust)
  • No headlights

Mitchell was released on a $56,250 bond.

 

Kyran Gerard Williams, 26, Youngsville, LA, was arrested on October 14, 2023, at 6:29 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of illegal use/possession/control of weapons-crime of violence and possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoids with intent to distribute. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jonathan Chad Ulmer, 47, Winnsboro, LA, was arrested on October 15, 2023, at 4:29 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Shawnna Nicole Johnson, 32, Patterson, LA, was arrested on October 13, 2023, at 3:36 pm for battery-aggravated. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
