St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 28 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Damien Aurelius Hale, 33, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 18, 2023, at 3:13 pm for entry/remaining on premises after being forbidden and disturbing the peace-intoxicated. Bail has not been set at this point.

 

Blaze Michael Charpentier, 35, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 18, 2023, at 8:19 pm on two warrants for failure to appear on the charges of battery of a dating partner and domestic abuse battery. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Blake Joseph Antoine, 36, New Iberia, LA, was arrested on October 19, 2023, at 1:37 am for criminal damage to property-simple. Bail has not been set at this point.

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
