St. Mary Parish Sheriff Blaise Smith advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff's Office responded to 34 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Jose Carlos Baeza, 41, Houston, TX, was arrested on October 19, 2023, at 9:46 pm for illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities. Bail has not been set at this time.

 

Jamason Austin, 23, Houma, LA, was arrested on October 20, 2023, at 12:19 am on an MCPD warrant for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. Austin is being held for another agency.

 

Timothy Terrell Humphrey Jr., 36, Amelia, LA, was arrested on October 19, 2023, at 8:03 am for battery-simple. Humphrey continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

Ashlee Allan Miller Sr., 43, Franklin, LA, was arrested on October 19, 2023, at 8:03 am for battery-simple. Miller continues to be incarcerated at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center.

 

 

All persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
